Saturday, July 5: The Garden Gallery (10 North Hanover Street, 717-249-1721), along with Nancy Stamm’s Galleria, Fly Away Home and Downtown Antiques present "First Saturdays–Art in Carlisle!" – A continuing series in the heart of historic downtown Carlisle, featuring original paintings, drawings, ceramics, jewelry, and hand-made cards. All shops' hours on First Saturdays are 10 am – 5 pm, are in easy walking distance and are also surrounded with many wonderful, locally owned, restaurants and coffee shops.

Saturday, September 13: Hunters Valley Winery– Plein Aire Painting Day from 11 am to 5 pm. Talented artists will set up on the winery lawn to capture the scenery of the vineyard near harvest time, the Susquehanna River and the mountain valleys to the east. The artists interact with onlookers and have works for sale. Wine tasting with snacks. Winery is located 1/3 mi. from the intersection of Rt. 34 with Rt. 11 & 15, 2 mi. south of Liverpool, 26 mi. north of Harrisburg. 717-444-7211.
